A teenager has landed a job travelling the world playing computer games.

Pete Wright, 19, is Britain's top player at shoot 'em up Counter-Strike: Source.

Software bosses were so impressed they signed him up to demonstrate the game at international tournaments. His first task is to compete in the Los Angeles world finals next month for a share of the £245,000 prize money.

Pete, from Plymouth, whose salary is £14,700, said yesterday: "It's a dream come true. I get paid money to play."
